Sergey Larenkov’s “Link to the Past” photo series combines photos from World War II with perspective-matching modern pictures of those same locales. The overall effect is haunting, sobering, and altogether beautiful.
I don’t use the word “breathtaking” lightly. There’s a big ol’ pit in my stomach after browsing these.
